Water and flood damage drying

Water can get everywhere and damage the structure of your building in the roof or walls as well as furniture, carpets and equipment. We understand the urgency for immediate repairs and can act quickly to help minimise any further damage often seen by other companies with a slow response. Water damage restoration
Regardless of the cause, burst pipes or floods, we can act quickly and help you assess problems or issues that water damage has produced and start the recovery process for you. The quicker the better! Before emergency works are started, we remove any salvageable items. We have the latest fast drying equipment to help dry your property and belongings. We can also disinfect your property as needed after water damage. We also use the latest MMS3 meter systems and probes to detect where the moisture has affected your property and place our equipment according to IICRC S 500 practice.

Water damage caused by a flood or a burst pipe can spread quickly throughout the building, so time can be your enemy, permanently staining carpets, upholstery, and other valuable items. Wooden furniture can swell, or begin to deteriorate. Mould and bacteria can also grow within 24-48 hours and generate unpleasant odours throughout the area, in addition to putting you and your family or employees at severe health risks. Water can also cause structural damage to buildings, and if left unaddressed, doors, windows, frames, and walls can begin to warp or break. Therefore it’s important to address the problem quickly to prevent further damage. Be mindful of the unseen damage that water can leave behind as you may begin to notice discolouration in walls or odours beginning to hit the air. Moisture can be trapped and hence mould start to spread. We also use Hepa air filtration machines in these cases and desiccant or LGR dehumidifiers for fastest drying.
Flood drying
After flood damage, the first step is to make sure any affected areas are safe and treated to kill germs, mould and bacteria. It can then be dried properly and quickly. We use specialised equipment to force dry air into such areas. We use top rated equipment such as Dri-Eaz, including large self drain dehumidifiers and fast air movers, ductin, desiccants and Hepa air filter machines for more challenging jobs.
Mould treatment
It’s important to lower the humidity of a damaged area to prevent the damage from spreading further. We can test the relative humidity of the air on our initial survey. We can also treat any mould at your property before drying commences. If you have ceilings that have collapsed we can make these safe and remove wet items as needed before starting the drying process. We always keep you up to date with the progress by weekly reports and invoicing if prefered.
Carpet cleaning water damage
We can also deep clean and deodorise areas nearby not affected by flooding but where access was needed to the damaged areas and hence footfall has spread water damage to carpeting and other floorings in other areas.
