These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all water-damage restoration, moisture control, mould remediation, and related services (“Services”) provided by Multiclean Restore (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“the Customer”, “you”, “your”). By requesting or accepting our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


  1. Scope of Services
    • 1.1 We provide professional water-damage restoration and associated services as outlined on our website with the clients or representatives consent via signing our permission to commence work form.
    • 1.2 Any additional services requested after work begins will be subject to additional charges and must be confirmed in writing.

  1. Quotations & Pricing
    • 2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Estimates are sometimes used in emergency call outs.
    • 2.2 Prices may vary if the scope of work changes due to unforeseen conditions, further damage, or restricted access.
    • 2.3 We can supply weekly invoices if required and asked for.

  1. Access to Property
    • 3.1 You agree to provide full access to the premises at the agreed times.
    • 3.2 If access is restricted or delayed, additional charges may apply.

  1. Customer Responsibilities
    • 4.1 You must ensure that utilities (electricity, water, etc.) required for the work are available unless otherwise agreed.
    • 4.2 You are responsible for removing personal items, furniture, or valuables from work areas unless we have agreed to assist.

  1. Equipment Use
    • 5.1 We may install drying, dehumidifiers, filtration, heating, or monitoring equipment at your property.
    • 5.2 Such equipment must not be switched off, moved, or tampered with without our written consent.
    • 5.3 Any damage or loss caused by misuse or interference will be charged to the Customer or if the property is not secure any stolen items will be charged to the customer unless you take out our extra insurance for equipment loss or damage.

  1. Hidden Moisture and Mould – Important Notice
    • 6.1 While Multiclean Restore uses modern diagnostic tools and industry-standard restoration methods to IICRC standards, some moisture or mould may remain concealed behind walls, under floors, within cavities, insulation, or other hidden areas.
    • 6.2 The Customer acknowledges that:
      • Hidden mould growth may not be detectable at the time of service;
      • Full removal of all hidden moisture cannot be absolutely guaranteed;
      • Additional paid work may be required if further moisture or mould is later discovered.
    • 6.3 The Company is not liable for damage, health issues, or costs arising from concealed or subsequently discovered mould or moisture unless caused directly by our proven negligence.

  1. Liability & Insurance
    • 7.1 We hold public liability insurance in accordance with UK law.
    • 7.2 Except where prohibited by law, we are not liable for:
      • Pre-existing damage or deterioration;
      • Damage resulting from structural defects in the property;
      • Consequential, indirect, or financial losses (e.g., loss of income, accommodation costs).
    • 7.3 Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the Services unless mandated otherwise by law.

  1. Payment Terms
    • 8.1 Payment is due in full upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing on our invoice.
    • 8.2 Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
    • 8.3 Where an insurer is paying for the work, you remain responsible for full payment if the insurer does not settle.

  1. Cancellation & Postponement
    • 9.1 You may not cancel or postpone scheduled work once work agreement/commencement forms have been signed.
    • 9.2 Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice from first contact may incur a cancellation fee.
    • 9.3 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to safety concerns, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control.

  1. Warranties
    • 10.1 We guarantee that all services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill, in line with UK industry standards such as IICRC.
    • 10.2 No guarantee is given that all hidden moisture or mould will be eliminated but using the latest tools we will conduct the work in a professional manner.
    • 10.3 If a property is left shut up without ventilation or heating after drying, particularly over winter months this can cause condensation or mould to develop inside the property. Multiclean Restore cannot be held responsible for this effect.

  1. Property Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
    • 11.1 We may document the condition of affected areas before work begins.
    • 11.2 We are not responsible for wear, fragility, or failure of structural elements affected by water damage prior to our arrival.

  1. Customer Property & Valuables
    • 12.1 We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property not removed prior to the commencement of work.
    • 12.2 If we assist in moving items, we do so as a courtesy and accept no liability for breakage or damage unless caused by negligence.

  1. Complaints
    • 13.1 Any complaints must be made in writing within 14 days of completion of the Services.
    • 13.2 We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time frame.

  1. Termination
    • 14.1 We may terminate the agreement if:
      • You fail to provide access;
      • You instruct us to perform unsafe or unlawful tasks;
      • Payment terms are violated.

  1. Governing Law
    • 15.1 These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
    • 15.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  1. Acceptance of Terms
    • By confirming a booking, allowing work to commence, signing a permission to commence work form as the client or on behalf of a business or signing a quotation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions as the client or on behalf of the business that you represent.
